Quartz Mountain Aerospace CEO Mark Arciero receives a priority package from Altus, OK USPS Supervisor of Customer Services, Jim Puckett for delivery to Lakeland, FL Sun-n-Fun Fly In. This annual event is also the Grand Unveiling of the “Spirit of Altus” QMA’s newest single engine four passenger aircraft. It features a sporty paint job and is the only Original Equipment Manufacturer to include a fully equipped “glass cockpit”. This includes the latest Garmin Navigation technology and Aspen Avionics. The priority package signifies the long and lasting history between the US Postal Service and the aerospace industry in Oklahoma. In commemoration of this event, Centennial Stamps and Lapel Pins which were sent from Scott Morgan, Manager of the National Center for Education Development (NCED) will be handed out at Sun-n-Fun. The NCED located in Norman, Oklahoma, is the largest Postal Training Center in the United States. Scott Morgan noted the connection between the Spirit of Altus paint scheme, created by the QMA employees, and the US Postal Service history with aviation during a recent tour of the facility. |
